Girls' Night Out

Superstar conductor Simone Young leads the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and a stellar line-up of artists in a very special evening celebrating the music of Richard Strauss. A composer who famously ‘thanked the Almighty Creator for the gift and inspiration of the female voice,’ Strauss’ music showcases the female voice like no other.

Young is joined on the concert platform by four of Australia’s operatic powerhouses: Emma Matthews, Catherine Carby, Miriam Gordon-Stewart and Lisa Gasteen, who come together for one-night only. This is an unmissable evening of passion and soaring melody with highlights from Der Rosenkavalier, Arabella and more.
